Details

The greatest advantage of this dynamometer is its modular ability to be upgraded from a very basic inertia type 4x2 dyno to a comprehensive 4x4 unit.  You can therefor start off with a 4x2 inertia dyno, later upgrade it to a 4x2 Loading and then Upgrade to the flagship 4x4 unit.

The 4x2 versions of the Car dyno can be upgraded to mobile units, which include a versatile trailer with build-in lifting equipment as well as the appropriate ramps for above ground operation.

Options

Ratchet Tie Downs:

  • 4 x 2,000 kg capacity tie downs ensure safe dyno testing at high speeds.

Cooling fan for motor vehicle:

  • 1.1 kW Ø400mm axial fan for Inertia dyno testing only.
  • 380 V 4kW Ø500mm axial fan for Load and Inertia dyno testing.

Cooling fan for retarder :

  • 220V 0,3kW Ø400mm fan. Ensures prolonged testing at constant speeds.

RPM Pick-up :

  • Clips onto negative of coil, injector or inductive HT Lead

Lambda Sensor :

  • Wide range oxygen sensor integrated with computer to display Air/Fuel readings on the graphs.

Roller sync:

  • Synchronising system available on the 4x4 dynamometer to ensure that the front and rear rollers are running at the same speed.
